WARRANTY RETURN PROCEDURES Quite often, a subsidiary component on an rv refrigerator will not function properly, causing one to think that the new cooling unit is bad when it is not. For example, the original heating element is bad, a fuse on the control board is blown, the thermostat is bad, the door seals are leaking, etc. As such, World Class RV Refrigeration has developed a Warranty Checklist with certain tests and procedures that must be followed in order to determine the cause of the failure. After review, the checklist can point out trouble areas that can be fixed in the field without the trouble and expense of removing and shipping the unit back.
WARRANTY CHECKLIST Upon reporting a potential warranty, World Class RV Refrigeration will send a Warranty Checklist via U.S. Postal Mail or fax. This checklist contains several items that must be tested, and the results of these tests recorded on the checklist. After completing the checklist, you must either return the list back to World Class RV Refrigeration or call and go over the checklist results with a World Class RV Refrigeration technician. The technician will review the results to determine if the unit is bad or if another component is the cause of the problem, and suggest the best course of action at that time. Under no circumstances will a replacement cooling unit be shipped prior to receiving the results of the Warranty Checklist.
