ELECTRIC HEATING ELEMENTS

It is very important that you consider replacing your old heating element with a new one when you change your cooling unit.

Cooling unit failure, especially when caused by a cracked boiler assembly, can short out a heating element by pouring liquid on the superheated element. The ceramic inside the element cracks, grounding the element out, causing poor or inaccurate heating of the element. When this happens, it gives the false impression that your new cooling unit is bad.

World Class RV Refrigeration keeps elements in stock for every cooling unit that we manufacture. Dometic elements start at $45, and Norcold elements at $60.

Note: new heating elements are not included in the price of the cooling unit.
